About Externals.net

Externals.net is a website dedicated to providing a central place for finding externals. The idea is that you should no longer need to remember who made that particular external you're after, where you can download it, or even what its name is.

The website was started by Tomas Franzén, and can possibly be expanded in the future to cover more than just externals. The server runs Apache on Mac OS X, with PHP to deliver dynamic pages, and SQLite as the database system. Administration is done through SuperCard with the SQLite External.

Thanks to Mike for making the beautiful bundle icon, to everyone that helps me submit Chilton's externals, and of course to all external makers.

Help Project

External Library

Externals.net is accompanied by a Help Project that can update itself over the Internet to list new externals. This greatly enhances the power of the help system - now you can "Search All" and find what you need, no matter if it's an entry in the SLG or one of Chilton's creatures.
